Job summary

Williams is offering an engineering internship for motivated students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or computer science. The role emphasizes real-time data analysis, asset maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration to drive enterprise projects.

Interns will relocate for summer sites, contribute to major capital expansions, and participate in mentorship and leadership activities while aligning with Williams values and safety priorities.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or computer science.
  • Graduation date December 2027 or beyond.
  • Not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.
  • Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to relocate for the summer internship locations.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Safety as the utmost priority.
  • Ability to work independently, within a team, and within a matrix environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and creative-thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of Williams core business and operating areas.
  • Gather and analyze real-time data to identify efficiencies and ensure proper asset maintenance.

  • Work generally Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, energy, financial, mechanical or petroleum engineering, or computer science
  • Graduation date of December 2027 or beyond
