Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart in The Colony, TX is hiring a Return Dock Specialist for 2nd shift (1:00-10:00pm or 2:00-11:00pm) with full weekend availability. You will process returned customer purchases, properly code uncrated products, and ensure procedures are followed.

Daily tasks include verifying return orders at check-in, inspecting products for defects, processing paperwork, tagging items, wrapping merchandise, and safely moving items to their destination.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• 6 months’ customer contact experience.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights.
• Operate scanning equipment preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Verify all return orders during check-in.
• Inspect product for defects.
• Process paperwork, tag products and assign status coding for returns.
• Wrap merchandise and note any arising problems on order.
• Move the product to where it needs to go safely.
