Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Return Center Module Operator in the United States for the first shift. Open, verify, and scan returned merchandise and place freight in proper locations.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a non-temperature environment. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, stocking, and staging product with powered equipment, verifying packaging, and ensuring proper processing of freight via the scanning system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• Material handling certification, preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging for scanning.
• Ensure accurate processing of all freight using the scanning system.
• Identify items requiring special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material).
• Ensure scanned freight reaches the correct destination (slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets safely.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Days/Hours:Tuesday-Thursday, 6am-4pm & Friday 6am-3:35pm

Pay: $21.45 per hour

Role Purpose

Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.

Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred
