Job summary

Goodyear is hiring a Retread Technician to join our tire retread team in Indianapolis. You will participate in the retread process, from inspecting tires to applying new tread and final quality checks. The role emphasizes on-the-job training and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Experience isn’t required; training will be provided. Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. This is a hands-on manufacturing position with growth opportunities at Goodyear facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread eligibility.
• Buff casing to remove worn tread and embeds.
• Repair casing with cement/patch before applying new tread.
• Build and cure retreaded tires, then perform final inspection.
