Job summary

Purcell Tire & Service Centers in Oregon is seeking a full-time Retread Technician to produce high-quality retreads per company specifications. You will perform assigned retreading tasks, operate plant equipment safely, and participate in ongoing training and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background & drug screen.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to be retreaded or repaired.
• Work plant station to repair and/or retread tires per specification.
• Safely operate plant equipment to buff, skive, repair, envelope, cure tires.
• Safely trim, paint and tag finished tires.
• Make final tire repair inspection and place with finished stock.
• Ensure work order completion: proper work, and identification.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
