Snider Fleet Solutions in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Retread Buffer Operator to operate buffing equipment, remove worn tread, and prepare tire casings for the Michelin retread process. This is a hands-on, safety-conscious role in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous commercial tire, retread, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Previous experience operating tire buffing equipment strongly preferred.
• General mechanical aptitude and close attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate commercial tire buffing equipment
• Remove worn tread and prepare tire casings for retreading
• Inspect casings for visible damage or irregularities
• Buff each tire to the proper size, shape, and specifications
• Follow Michelin retread procedures and company safety standards
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Retread Buffer Operator to operate specialized buffing equipment, remove worn tread from commercial truck tires, and prepare each casing for the next stage of the Michelin retread process.
