Job summary

Clorox is seeking a Production Manager, Retort to lead safe, compliant, and cost-effective manufacture of finished Kingsford products. You will steer Retort operations, drive schedules, quality, and service while developing a high-performing team.

You will coach employees, manage budgets, and implement visual management and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver plant growth and operational excellence across safety, waste reduction, and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Health, Safety, and Environmental leadership to foster a culture of safety and compliance.
• Lead Retort operations focusing on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Deliver production schedules while meeting quality and customer service requirements.
• Manage budgets, labor, materials, and equipment resources.
• Drive waste elimination, productivity and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead a high-performing Retort team and develop staff.
