Ipm Foods is seeking a Retort Operator to manage the retort system and execute thermal processing according to established specifications. You will ensure accurate documentation, monitor cycles, and uphold GMP and HACCP compliance in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include calibrating thermometers, entering process data, maintaining circle charts, performing sanitation, collecting samples, and supporting QC and Loader Operator to sustain product quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food manufacturing production or thermal processing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow thermal process recipes, specifications, and SOPs.
• Excellent attention to detail for documentation and recordkeeping.
• Ability to recognize alarms and respond to deviations.
• Basic computer skills for data entry into retort control systems.
• Reliable attendance; safety-critical, time-sensitive production role.

Responsabilités

• Calibrate thermometers and prepare each thermal process.
• Operate the retort and monitor every cycle.
• Enter process data and maintain circle charts.
• Complete all thermal process paperwork accurately.
• Perform acid washes, plate cleaning, and sanitation checks.
• Collect samples for incubation and assist QC and the Loader Operator.
