Qualifications

• Basic math skills recognized as essential.
• Strong reading, writing and verbal English communication.
• Good manufacturing/process environment experience.
• Basic computer knowledge and data recording ability.
• Team player with ability to follow SOPs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Verify retorts are empty before startup.
• Check incoming water temperature and log results.
• Ensure steam and air are present; set system to Auto.
• Load/unload retorts correctly and record on retort sheet.
• Record chlorine test results once per shift.
• Monitor water temp at shift start and mid-shift; log readings.
• Unload sterilized pouched product to arrival lanes.
• Track readings on up to 8 retorts and understand cook cycle.
