Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a US Retirement & Savings Programs Specialist to join a leading infrastructure organization as a permanent hire. You will administer 401(k) plans and ESPP, partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance and Legal to ensure compliance and smooth program operations.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in retirement or benefits programs, familiarity with ERISA, and experience with HRIS/payroll systems. This remote role offers nationwide coverage with NC preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years administering US retirement, savings, or benefits programs.
• Experience supporting 401(k) plans and related compliance activities.
• Knowledge of ERISA, IRS filings, and retirement plan compliance.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP).
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or population integrations.
• Understanding of stock plan taxation and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage US retirement and savings programs (401(k), ESPP).
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance and Legal; work with vendors.
• Ensure program compliance, regulatory reporting, and testing where needed.
• Support plan integrations related to acquisitions and integrations.
• Drive process improvements across retirement and savings programs.
• Assist with employee inquiries and payroll/plan data reconciliation.

JOB DESCRIPTION: $90k-$95k/year + Bonus - Remote across US (NC preferred)

Insight Global is seeking a US Retirement & Savings Programs Specialist to join a leading infrastructure organization on a permanent basis. This individual will be responsible for the administration and ongoing management of U.S. retirement and savings programs, including 401(k) plans and Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP). The Specialist will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure program compliance, manage employee inquiries, support plan integrations related to acquisitions, and drive process improvements across retirement and savings programs. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of U.S. retirement legislation, payroll integration, and benefits administration who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-5+ years of experience administering U.S. retirement, savings, or benefits programs


• Experience supporting 401(k) plans, retirement savings programs, and related compliance activities including non-discrimination testing and regulatory reporting


• Knowledge of U.S. retirement and benefits regulations, including ERISA, IRS requirements, Form 5500 filings, and retirement plan compliance


• Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP, or similar platforms


• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or employee population integrations


• Understanding of stock plan taxation, payroll reporting, and IRS Section 423 requirements

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP), employee equity programs, or stock plan administration preferred
