Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group in Denver, CO (or Salt Lake City, UT) is seeking a Retirement Plan Specialist to drive new business and cross-sell retirement products to plan sponsors. The role reports to the Regional Vice President and works with a high-energy team focused on growth.

You will set qualified appointments, manage a geographic territory, and attend client reviews to position opportunities and build relationships for ongoing sales success.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years outside B2B sales experience with prospecting and territory management
• Ability to make outbound cold calls to prospective clients
• Effective communication skills and independent, strategic thinking
• Strong relationship-building skills and client service mindset
• Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE or obtain within 180 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Set qualified appointments with plan sponsors of 401k and 403b plans
• Cultivate new prospects within a geographic territory and cross-sell solutions
• Attend client review meetings to position opportunities and secure references for sales opportunities
