Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group in Philadelphia or Baltimore is seeking a Retirement Plan Specialist to drive growth in group retirement plans. You will build appointments, cross-sell solutions, and work with Plan Sponsors to position our offerings.

The role requires 0–2 years of outside B2B sales, cold calling, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. A bachelor’s degree and FINRA licenses are preferred; license may be obtained within 180 days.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of outside B2B sales experience.
• Outbound cold calling and prospecting experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage relationships.
• FINRA Series 6, 63 and SIE or willing to obtain within 180 days.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set qualified appointments with Plan Sponsors of 401k and 403b plans through multiple strategies (cold calling, networking, referrals).
• Cultivate new prospects within geographic territory and cross-sell solutions to reach/beat goals by closing deals.
• Attend client review meetings with Customer Relationship Manager for top clients to secure introductions and sales opportunities.
