Principal Financial Group is seeking a Retirement Sales Specialist to join the Advisor support team in Des Moines, IA, with opportunities in Denver, CO. You will partner with Internal Wholesalers and Field Sales Reps to build a robust pipeline, close sales, and nurture profitable advisor and third-party administrator relationships.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service or financial services, familiarity with retirement plans, and the ability to obtain FINRA licenses within months.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of customer service or financial services experience.
• Knowledge of retirement plans designs and regulations is preferred.
• Previous experience in a sales capacity is highly desired.
• Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts L/R (FINRA Series 6) within 5 months of employment.
• Residence Life appointment must be attained within 4 months of employment.

Aufgaben

• Generate and manage pipeline, close sales and develop advisor relationships.
• Educate and consult with advisors and third-party administrators on prospecting, marketing, and selling retirement plans.
• Develop relationships with advisors and third-party administrators.
• Evaluate and price prospective business for profitability and client fit.
• Prepare advisors to deliver sales presentations to clients.
