Job summary

Cetera Retirement Plan Specialists in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Retirement Plan Consultant who delivers exceptional client service and tackles complex DC plan administration challenges. You will review cross-testing, compute employer contributions, and provide year-end deliverables to clients, while coordinating with advisors and internal teams to resolve issues.

At least 3 years of Defined Contribution Plan Administration experience.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to exceptional service.
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
Experience with cross-testing, ADP/ACP testing, or plan design is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review and perform compliance work related to cross-testing and ADP/ACP testing for DC plans.
Calculate employer contributions.
Deliver testing results and year end packages to clients.
Ensure compliance corrections are completed and 5500s filed timely.
Track data from clients and follow up as needed.
Collaborate with clients, advisors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Consult on plan design.
