Job summary

Empower Careers seeks a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to guide participants in employer-sponsored plans toward long-term financial well-being. The role involves inbound and outbound calls, personalized education, and proactive engagement.

You will educate on managed accounts, distribution options, and IRA implications, while building trusted relationships and meeting growth targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Good understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services and the qualified retirement plan environment.
• Demonstrated ability managing multiple priorities and handling stressful situations daily.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office; ability to manipulate files.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and responding to plan and policy questions.
• Explain policies and procedures with clear, concise communication.
• Retain assets through education on plan options and distributions.
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications of retirement accounts.
• Deliver optimal solutions to customers in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to problem-solve and drive results.
• Utilize tools to identify the best retirement planning options for customers.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
