Responsibilities

• Conduct group retirement education and enrollment meetings for employees and plan participants.

• Assist employees with enrollment and participation in retirement plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with plan sponsors, HR contacts, and financial advisors.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to design participant education strategies.
• Deliver virtual and in-person presentations, workshops, and enrollment sessions.
• Explain retirement concepts clearly and accessibly.
• Follow up with participants and sponsors to resolve questions.
• Maintain CRM records of meetings and follow-ups.
• Travel locally and regionally for client meetings as needed.

About the Role

We are seeking a Retirement Education Specialist to provide retirement plan education, enrollment support, and ongoing relationship management for employees and plan sponsors. This position is ideal for someone with a background in retirement plans, financial services, employee benefits, or participant education who enjoys presenting to groups, working one‑on‑one with participants, and building strong client relationships. The role will involve a combination of virtual and in‑person meetings, with some travel to client locations as needed. Candidates who live near an office may be asked to work on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct group retirement education and enrollment meetings for employees and plan participants.
• Provide one‑on‑one guidance and education to participants regarding retirement plan features, contribution strategies, investment options, and retirement readiness.
• Assist employees with the enrollment process and encourage participation in employer-sponsored retirement plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with plan sponsors, HR contacts, financial advisors, and other key stakeholders.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and internal teams to develop effective participant education and communication strategies.
• Conduct virtual and in‑person presentations, workshops, benefit fairs, and new‑hire enrollment sessions.
• Explain retirement plan concepts and investment‑related information in a clear, approachable manner.
• Follow up with participants and plan sponsors to address questions and ensure a positive client experience.
• Maintain accurate records of meetings, participant interactions, and follow‑up activities within the company's CRM.
• Travel locally and regionally for client meetings and enrollment events as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retirement plans, financial services, employee benefits, wealth management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong presentation and public‑speaking skills.
• Comfortable presenting to both large groups and individuals.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to explain financial and retirement concepts in a simple, engaging manner.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client and participant meetings.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
• Licensing FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 preferred, but not required.
• Candidates without current securities registrations may be considered depending on experience and willingness to obtain the appropriate licensing.
• Series 63/65 or other applicable licenses are a plus.

Compensation & Work Environment

Base salary up to $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional bonus opportunity.

Primarily remote position with hybrid expectations for candidates located near a company office.
