Job summary

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in Plano, TX seeks a Retirement Desk Team Leader, Vice President, to guide a team of licensed Retirement Consultants delivering retirement solutions and exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of financial services experience, including at least one year in a leadership role.
• Active SIE exam; Series 7 and 66 licenses.
• FINRA Series 9/10 and CRPC or CFP designation; may be obtained within the first 120 days.
• Strong knowledge of individual retirement products and ERISA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of licensed Retirement Consultants, creating an environment focused on strong performance, engagement, and professional growth.
• Drive an exceptional client experience by ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across retirement-related service needs and client interactions.
• Lead through change and demonstrate agility, helping the team successfully adopt new initiatives, processes, and evolving business priorities while maintaining strong execution.
• Support the strategic and tactical priorities of the Retirement business, translating broader objectives into clear actions and partnering across teams to drive implementation and results.
• Provide clear, concise updates to senior leadership on team performance, key initiatives, risks, and opportunities, confidently communicating progress and business outcomes.
• Build and strengthen retirement expertise across the team, ensuring Retirement Consultants can clearly explain retirement accounts, products, and solutions to clients.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and connect clients with broader J.P. Morgan Wealth Management solutions when appropriate.
• Partner effectively across client-facing teams and internal business groups to drive strong execution and business outcomes.
• Maintain a strong risk and controls environment by ensuring adherence to firm policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, service-level expectations, and key performance measures.
