Job summary

Zenith American Solutions is seeking a Retirement Benefits Specialist to perform technical and administrative duties related to processing retirement benefit inquiries and applications in line with company policies and plan guidelines.

The role requires handling PHI/PII with discretion, maintaining plan knowledge, and delivering accurate data entry and communication with participants, unions, and employers. A local office presence and ongoing compliance support are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience in a professional environment.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret benefit plans and regulations.
• Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains current knowledge of assigned Plan(s).
• Scans applications and documents into the system.
• Processes retirement benefit applications and verifies data.
• Responds to inquiries from participants, beneficiaries, and unions.
• Determines benefit eligibility and requests necessary documentation.
• Prepares correspondence regarding accounts and benefits.
• Updates retirement data in information systems.
• Supports special projects as requested.
