• Reads and interprets plan documents, regulations, and benefit plans.
• Communicates clearly and professionally, in writing and verbally.
• Maintains confidentiality of PHI/PII per policy.

Responsibilities

• Process retirement benefit applications and verify information.
• Research past service credits and deductions for accuracy.
• Respond to inquiries from participants, beneficiaries, and unions.
• Determine benefit eligibility and request necessary documents.
• Prepare and send correspondence on retirement information and history.
• Enter and correct member data in information systems.
• Update retirement data in relevant systems.
• Assist with special projects as requested by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
