Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months experience in a professional environment.
• Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials, procedures, benefit plans and regulations.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong discretion with sensitive information.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Maintains current knowledge of assigned Plan(s).
• Scans applications and documents into the system.
• Processes retirement benefit applications; verifies information and researches past service.
• Responds to inquiries from participants, beneficiaries, and union representatives regarding retirement benefits.
• Determines benefit eligibility and requests necessary documentation from unions, employers, and SSA.
• Initiates correspondence regarding general account information, retirement benefit history, and monthly retirement benefits.
• Performs data entry and corrections; updates retirement data in information systems.
• Assists with special projects as requested by management.
