Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Retirement Benefits Manager in Chandler, AZ to lead a team responsible for 401(k) MEPS/PEPs and client plans. You will ensure compliance with ERISA, coordinate with retirement vendors, and drive process improvements across payroll-related retirement services.

The role requires 5+ years in 401(k) administration with 1–3 years of leadership experience, strong communication, and collaboration across Payroll, Client Relations, and Benefits teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience focused on 401(k) plan administration.
• 1-3+ years of leadership experience (supervisory or lead).
• ERISA knowledge and retirement plan operations experience.
• TPA/MEP/PEP experience is a plus.
• Professional retirement credentials are a plus (e.g., QKA, RPA, CEBS).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and coaching to Retirement Benefits Specialists and Senior Specialists.
• Oversee team administration of retirement plans in compliance with ERISA and internal controls.
• Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and stakeholders on complex questions.
• Lead process improvements to enhance productivity and compliance.
• Support mergers of acquired MEPs/PEPs and annual 401(k) audits.
