Job summary

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC is seeking a Retinal Ophthalmologist to support the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role contributes to the Retinal Consultation and Treatment Clinic for approximately 4-16 hours per month, with an average around 4 hours monthly.

Responsibilities include intravitreal injections, laser treatments, pre- and post-treatment evaluations for ophthalmic disorders, and care aligned with AAO guidelines for diabetic retinopathy.

Qualifications

• Requires permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States or territories.
• Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
• BLS certification and DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Intravitreal injections, laser treatments, pre- and post-treatment evaluations, and other services dealing with ophthalmological disorders.
• Care for patients with diabetic retinopathy in line with AAO Patterns of Practice.
• Approx. 30 patient consultations, 5 laser treatments, and 10 intravitreal injections anticipated per one-day clinic.

Education

MD/DO Ophthalmology

Board Certified in Ophthalmologic Medicine or Board Eligible

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Current DEA license
