Job summary

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC in Lawton, Oklahoma seeks a retinal ophthalmologist to support the Retinal Consultation and Treatment Clinic. The role involves intravitreal injections and laser treatments in a one-day clinic, averaging about 4 hours per month, with additional patient evaluations as needed.

Eligible candidates hold a current US medical license, board eligible or certified in ophthalmology, and current BLS and DEA registrations.

Qualifications

• Permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States or territories.
• Board Certified in or Board Eligible in Ophthalmologic Medicine.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Intravitreal injections, laser treatments, pre and post treatment evaluations, and other services dealing with ophthalmological disorders.
• Treatment provided to patients with diabetic retinopathy will adhere to the current AAO patterns of practice.
• Approximately thirty (30) patient consultations and five (5) laser treatments and ten (10) intravitreal injections per one-day clinic.

This position will support the Retinal Consultation and Treatment Clinic for 4-16 hours a month (4 hours is the anticipated average a month).

• Intravitreal injections, laser treatments, pre and post treatment evaluations, and other services dealing with ophthalmological disorders.
• Treatment provided to patients with diabetic retinopathy will adhere to the current American Academy of Ophthalmology Preferred Patterns of Practice for Diabetic Retinopathy.
• It is anticipated that approximately thirty (30) individual patient consultations and five (5) laser treatments and ten (10) intravitreal injections will be performed during the course of each one-day clinic.

Qualifications

• Permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• Board Certified in or Board Eligible in Ophthalmologic Medicine.
