Job summary

Security-Federal-Bank-2 is seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Renewal Specialist to maintain the renewal book of business, quote, sell, and service auto, home, and commercial insurance. You will work directly with customers to address service needs and assist sales agents.

The role requires accurate data entry in the Insurance Management System, timely processing of renewals, and adherence to insurance laws and Bank Secrecy Act policies. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Responsible for maintaining renewal book of business and as necessary, quoting, selling and servicing products while providing excellent customer service. Position is responsible for service of auto, home and commercial insurance. Will work directly with the customer on service needs, as well as assisting sales agents.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (however, other duties & responsibilities may be assigned at any time):

• 1. Update Policy Expiration Report daily to maintain accurate list of renewals.
• 2. Process and/or re-quote renewal policies as needed.
• 3. Complete insurance applications for new insurance policies, as necessary.
• 4. Follow up and complete underwriting from insurance company.
• 5. Set up customer in Insurance Management System and/or update customer information in Insurance Management System.
• 6. Scan all documents into Insurance Management System.
• 7. Initiate policy changes with insurance company and update in Insurance Management System.
• 8. Pull and process mail daily.
• 9. Send postcards, new market letters or other insurance literature as needed.
• 10. Assist branch personnel and/or other agents as needed.
• 11. Provide excellent customer service to co-workers and public.
• 12. Keep current with all insurance laws and regulations.
• 13. Follow all Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures in order to assist in detecting and preventing money laundering and other illegal activities being conducted through the company.
