Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc is seeking a Retention Laser Technician to support strategic surgeons and the ROM team. This role spends up to 80% of time assisting surgical cases in the division and 20% in CRM data entry and office tasks.

You will maintain equipment, ensure safety, and assist in onboarding surgeons while supporting a 24/7 schedule. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent), driver’s license with a clean record, and prior medical or OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
• Must be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
• Prior experience with lasers or operating room is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the physician contact for strategic surgeons needing division support.
• Perform surgical case duties including in-services, laser education, case support, and CRM data entries.
• Become a subject matter expert with assigned lasers.
• Present in operating room during procedures; involvement depends on physician needs.
• Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical equipment after procedures.
• Communicate defects or maintenance needs to stakeholders to ensure equipment uptime.
• Transport equipment to the right place for procedures.
• Complete daily administrative tasks such as creating and closing work orders, processing timecards, and incident reporting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
• Obtain required certifications and keep them current; additional certifications may be needed based on demand.
• Travel within the assigned division and support a 24/7 schedule as needed.
