Job description

Upchurch Elementary is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-centered paraprofessional to join our team for approximately 4.5 hours per week. This position will support K–5 students through targeted reading intervention and enrichment, while also assisting with student supervision and other duties as needed. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, builds positive relationships, and is flexible, collaborative, and committed to helping students grow.

This is a temporary position based on grant funding for the current year, and there is no guaranteed permanent employment in future school years. Starting pay is $16.78 per hour. A certificated staff member may receive additional compensation.
