Job summary

Knights Ferry Elementary School District is seeking a paraprofessional to support instructional staff under the supervision of a credentialed teacher; duties include assisting in instructional activities, contributing to intensified learning experiences, and performing routine clerical tasks. This part-time position runs 190 days per year, 6.5 hours daily (8:00 AM–3:00 PM).

Pay ranges from $18.66 to $27.17 per hour, with initial placement limited to $19.80/hour.

Qualifications

• Preferred one year paid or volunteer experience working with multi-age groups of children.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ESSA; CBEST may be accepted in lieu of the aide proficiency test.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructional activities and intensified learning experiences.
• Perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
• Follow directions of the Superintendent/Principal and a credentialed teacher.
