Job summary

Subaru of America (SOA) seeks a senior Claims supervisor to provide day-to-day leadership for a team of Retailer Claims Specialists and Sr. Retailer Claims Specialists in a hybrid Camden, NJ setting. You will coach, prioritize work, and monitor quality while collaborating with field staff and HQ to drive improvements.

The role includes partnering with management on performance reviews, staff development, and process enhancements across Subaru's claims systems and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required OR HS Diploma and 6-8 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree required
• 6-8 years of relevant claims, service, or retailer/automotive work experience required
• Automotive industry experience with SOA or equivalent preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership and ability to coach and develop staff

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day, direct support and coaching of a team of Retailer Claims Specialists and Sr. Retailer Claims Specialists.
• Prioritizes daily workload of Retailer Claims Specialists according to volume, priorities, attendance, and experience.
• Monitors the quality of work through observations and claim reviews to identify coaching opportunities and participate in the annual performance process.
• Serves as SME to Subaru of America internal and field staff, offering timely support and fostering partnerships across the organization.
• Partners to identify and elevate opportunities with claims systems, processes, training and resources.
