Job summary

L.L.Bean is seeking a Manager of Retail Workforce Planning & Analytics to lead labor modeling, budgeting, and forecasting for Retail and Outlet Stores from our Freeport, Maine HQ. This role requires strong analytics, scheduling standards, and cross-functional collaboration to align store workload with financial targets.

The position emphasizes ownership of Dayforce-based processes, SAP spend monitoring, and development of workforce tools to optimize labor utilization while ensuring service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years in a retail-based role with 3+ years in workforce management, labor planning, or analytics.
• Experience with multi-unit store operations and labor tooling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns store labor models, staffing standards, and scheduling guidelines across formats.
• Develops labor standards and forecasting inputs by store format, volume, and season.
• Analyzes labor productivity metrics and translates insights into actionable reporting.
• Owns budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes in partnership with Finance.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration with Store Operations, Field Leadership, and Finance to align plans with financial targets.
