Job summary

Ashley Furniture in Nashua, NH is seeking a dependable Retail Operations Associate to help keep the showroom and warehouse safe, clean, organized, and guest-ready. This full-time role blends warehouse tasks, inventory, assembly, and showroom support to ensure a top-notch shopping environment.

You will unload trucks, manage inventory, assemble furniture, maintain displays, assist customers with pickups, and help keep floors, restrooms, and common areas tidy and welcoming throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Dependable, hardworking and hands-on; able to work independently or in a team.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks during an 8-hour shift.
• Able to use basic hand and power tools (screwdriver, drill, hammer, Allen wrench).
• Comfortable safely using an 8‑foot ladder.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, organization and detail.
• Able to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and move product into the warehouse or showroom.
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-maintained retail warehouse.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Assemble furniture and other products as needed.
• Tighten, adjust, and maintain showroom furniture and displays.
• Assist the Visual Merchandiser with display setup and merchandising.
• Make showroom lighting adjustments as needed.
• Perform minor furniture repairs, touch-ups, dusting and general upkeep.
• Assist customers with product pickups and safely load merchandise.
• Maintain restrooms and other customer areas in clean condition.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean floors throughout the store.
• Remove trash and keep work areas clean.
• Assist with painting and minor wall repairs as needed.
• Keep the front entrance clean (vacuum, glass).
• Provide basic showroom and facility maintenance.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, organized and welcoming environment.
