Job summary

Sugarbush Resort in Vermont is seeking Retail Sales Associates for a seasonal role from November to May. The position offers starting pay at $20 per hour and entails merchandising, guest service, and sales responsibilities in our Retail/Rental locations.

You will greet guests, help them find products, process payments at the POS, assist with inventory, and collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent pricing and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to pass a federal and state background check.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work at least 8 hours on your feet.
• Ability to function in and outdoors during extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Know the product and services offered in location as well as other Retail/Rental locations and the Resort as a whole.
• Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.

• Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Continually exceed our guests’ expectations and create memories for both guests & employees.
• Work independently on ideas that are for the benefit of your location.
• Perform other duties as required by Retail Manager and Supervisor.
• Work closely with other departments at the resort to maintain consistency of product and pricing.
• Perform other duties within the Resort when needed.
