Job summary

Marksman Security is currently seeking a Retail Security Officer (Active Level 1 Guard Card REQUIRED) in the United States state of Arizona. You will deter vandalism, detect suspicious behavior, and patrol on foot or by vehicle to safeguard properties and people.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour. The position requires an AZ Unarmed Guard Card (or willingness to obtain one) and compliance with site orders and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have AZ Unarmed Guard Card or be willing to obtain one.
• 18 years of age or older; 21+ to drive company vehicle.
• High school diploma or equivalent; security experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Patrol interior and exterior of the property and multiple buildings to observe safety and security risks.
• Report alarms or request police, paramedics or fire departments in case of emergency.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering or smoking.
• Complete parking patrols and issue violations as needed.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Deter criminal activity and maintain awareness of site orders and procedures.
• Lock and unlock areas according to opening/closing procedures.
