Job summary

Border Bank is seeking a Retail Training Manager to join our team. This role supports retail staff with onboarding, ongoing training, and resources to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will partner with multiple departments to ensure knowledge and processes are up to date, leverage learning tech, and lead training programs across our Minnesota and ND locations. This position offers flexibility to office at various Border Bank locations, with a focus on training excellence and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent training.
• Three years banking experience preferred.
• One year training/employee development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver onboarding, transition, and ongoing training for retail staff.
• Create and maintain retail learning resources, procedures, and reference materials.
• Partner with Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Risk, and other departments to develop retail processes and resources.
• Provide guidance and escalation support on retail policies and operational processes.
• Identify learning needs related to bank-wide products, services, initiatives and changes.
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Education

Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent specialized training

Minimum of three years of banking experience preferred

Minimum of one year of training, coaching, employee development, or instructional experience preferred
