Job summary

RoNetco ShopRite in New Jersey is seeking a Training Coordinator to lead recruitment, orientation, and staff training across the store operations team. The role collaborates with general store managers and department managers to ensure effective training and high associate engagement.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ retail experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and training platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a strong retail orientation, preferably grocery.
• Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and knowledge of Web-based training, Lotus Notes and web-based application programs.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and orientation sessions as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with candidates and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and orientation for new associates.
• Oversee the training of associates in conjunction with store management.
• Maintain and monitor training records and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with ShopRite Service Priorities and policies.
• Coordinate OSHA training and safety/compliance initiatives.
