Job summary

TDS Telecom in Bend, Oregon is hiring a Consumer Sales Representative-Retail to engage customers in person and over the phone, promote voice, data, TV and mobile products, and meet sales targets while delivering top-tier service.

You will participate in paid training, work a full-time schedule, and earn hourly pay plus uncapped commissions. Sign-on bonus and ramp-up payments are offered to start strong.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a sales or customer service role.
• 2+ years computer experience (Outlook, Word, Excel or order systems).
• 6+ months experience in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks.
• 6+ months experience working with detailed data.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales goals and negotiate effectively.
• Experience handling a high volume of calls in a contact center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sales & Retention results through exceptional customer service and meet monthly goals for core products.
• Assist walk-in customers and handle inbound calls when no in-store traffic is present.
• Resell value of services, protect existing revenue and minimize churn.
• Process inquiries on billing, service changes, and product renewals.
• Follow cash handling procedures accurately and support store operations.
