Job summary

Verizon Retail is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales in one of our stores, using a passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.

You will learn and uncover customers' needs, offer top-down product solutions, and close sales with strong communication. Ongoing training, potential community events, and a path to higher earnings are part of this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Open to pick up additional shifts, especially in peak periods.
• Experience in a commission-based environment (a plus).
• Sales experience and strong customer service background (a plus).
• Customer service experience (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service to expand Verizon's network.
• Learn customers' needs by connecting and asking questions.
• Position product insights and recommend solutions for a complete sales package.
• Close sales through strong communication to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Possibly grow customer base via outbound calls and texts to Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon events to expand loyalty.
