Job summary

Verizon Retail is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Fort Walton Beach, FL to grow sales through technology expertise and outstanding customer service. You’ll learn customer needs, recommend solutions, and close sales while advancing through ongoing training.

This onsite role offers 40 hours per week with opportunities for commissions and performance bonuses, plus competitive benefits and a path to career growth within Verizon.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience demonstrated through work experience or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to pick up additional shifts to earn more income, especially in peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations to provide top-down sales solutions.
• Close sales with strong communication to meet customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Develop through ongoing training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow customer base via outbound calls and texts to existing customers.
• Engage with the community at Verizon events to expand loyal customers.
