UBREAKIFIX in Gaithersburg, MD is hiring an In Store Tech Solutions Expert to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair devices while delivering exceptional customer service. You will explain technical issues in simple terms, assist customers with solutions, and contribute to sales through insurance programs and commissions.

Strong emphasis on meeting sales goals, maintaining inventory, and providing a five-star customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

We help the community solve their electronic needs. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair devices.
• Provide recommendations for problem resolution.
• Explain complex technician issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner.
• Sell Home+ insurance program through Asurion.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers.
• Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive, fun work environment.
• Answer phone calls with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor.
• Ensure that customers have an enjoyable five-star experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
• Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock.
• Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair.
• Maintains the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store.
• Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (must meet some, not all):

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years experience in a sales environment and the ability to meet sales goals.
• 1-2 years customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Bilingual spoken and written also preferred.
