Blue Star Donuts is seeking a friendly Retail Team Member to join our Portland shop. This part-time position emphasizes stellar hospitality, engaging chat with customers, and accurate order handling for in-store, online, and delivery orders.

You’ll craft espresso drinks, expand knowledge of donut and beverage offerings, and maintain cleanliness per standards. Weekend and weekday availability is required, with a dynamic, donut-loving team culture.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Food Handlers card.
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs & stand for long periods.
• Reliable and exceptional attendance.
• Availability during company blackout dates.
• Must align with Blue Star Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to create an experience according to Blue Star standards.
• Greet customers and engage in fun, friendly interactions.
• Package in store, online & delivery orders efficiently and accurately with aesthetic presentation in mind.
• Craft and serve a variety of high-quality espresso-based drinks, including coffee, matcha, and specialty beverages, while ensuring consistency and adherence to company recipes and standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all product knowledge including, but not limited to, all donut & beverage offerings, and allergy information.
• Uphold all cleanliness and sanitation standards; includes completing all daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments.
