Job summary

Blue Star Donuts, a woman-led gourmet donut shop founded in Portland in 2012, is seeking a Production Team Member to join our Production team in Portland, OR. You will help produce high-quality donuts in a fast-paced environment and support daily operations from prep to packaging.

We value enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive attitude. This role requires weekend and weekday availability across multiple shifts, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Job Details: Location: Flagship - SW Jefferson - Portland, OR 97201; Salary Range: $16.45 - $24.45 Hourly; Pay: $16.45/hr +Tips! (Tips average $6-$7/hr); Required Availability: Weekends & Weekdays, AM Crew (7a-3p), PM Crew (11a-7p and 4p-12a), Overnight Crew (11p-7a).

Position Details:

• Understands and follow all food service health and sanitation guidelines
• Ensure cleanliness and uphold all sanitation standards of all workstations and equipment
• Learn and stay up to date on all Production processes & procedures
• Ensure quality of all products upheld to Blue Star standards
• Follow assigned station procedures; mixing, rolling, scooping, cutting and forming dough
• Demonstrate proficiency in finishing production; frying, glazing, and delivery preparation
• Demonstrate proficiency in product knowledge, and operation of all kitchen equipment
• Assist in packaging + labeling production as assigned
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines assigned by Production Management team
• Adhere to all Blue Star recipes and procedures, assigned by Chef or Production Management team
• Ensure quality of all products upheld to Blue Star standards
• Accomplish daily, weekly, monthly cleaning assignments
