Job summary

Kilwins Chocolates Franchise, Inc. in Venice, FL is seeking a Part-Time Retail Team Member for evenings and closing shifts. You will greet guests, scoop ice cream, serve and package confections, and handle the register.

No prior retail or confection experience is required—we provide paid training and opportunities to learn and grow. This role requires 18+ availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. You will stand and move throughout the shift, with up to 50 pounds lifting as needed, and

• Prepare waffle cones and other retail items.
• Prepare confections using production equipment as trained.
• Operate the register and process transactions.
• Restock, keep the store clean and inviting.
• Complete closing responsibilities and support teammates.

Part-Time Retail Team Member — Nights and Closers, Age 18+

Location: Venice, FL

Pay: $15.00/hour + tips

We’re looking for dependable applicants age 18 and older who are available for evening, weekend, holiday, and closing shifts.

This hands-on role includes guest service, closing responsibilities, and preparing confections using hot production equipment. No previous retail or confection experience is required—we provide paid training.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests and help them select their favorite Kilwins treats.
• Scoop premium ice cream and prepare desserts.
• Serve and package chocolates, fudge, caramel apples, and other products.
• Prepare waffle cones, Chocolate on the Inside treats, and other approved retail items.
• Prepare and cook confections using hot copper kettles, Hilliard’s equipment, and other designated production equipment as trained and assigned.
• Accurately operate the register and process transactions.
• Restock products and keep the store clean, organized, and inviting.
• Complete assigned closing responsibilities and support your teammates.

THE SWEET TRUTH & HURDLES

Evening, weekend, holiday, and closing availability is essential. Closing shifts may extend late into the evening based on store hours and business needs. You must be able to remain through the completion of your assigned closing responsibilities.

This active position requires standing and walking throughout most of the shift; frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements; safely working around food, hot copper kettles, and production equipment; and lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, with assistance when appropriate.
