Job summary

Palmetto Goodwill is hiring a Retail Team Member II at 222 Old Trolley Road, Summerville, SC 29485. You will support donation processing, pricing, stocking, and cashier duties while delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must understand English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse customers.
• Flexible schedule including weekends; reliable transportation required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers ACE to all customers in the store and during donations.
• Acts as an ambassador of Palmetto Goodwill and I-CARE values.
• Participates in training and development opportunities.
• Supports diversity, inclusivity, and belonging in the team.
• Receives donations using the GRATIS process (Greet, Receipt, Assist, Thank, Invite back, Sort).
• Sorts, prices, and stocks hardline donations for sale.
• Sorts, tags, and stocks softline donations for sale.
• Uses the POS system to complete sales and encourages round-ups.
• Records donations and production of merchandise as required.
• Meets established production goals in retail operations.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Demonstrates proficiency across cashier/production roles when evaluated.
• Reports security or theft concerns to management or asset protection.
• Follows all policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
