Job summary

Petsense is seeking a Team Member to deliver legendary customer service, handle sales transactions, and support merchandising and stocking tasks. You will interact with customers and team members, contribute to selling initiatives, and perform a range of duties to keep the store running smoothly.

The role requires flexibility across shifts, engagement with live animals, and adherence to safety and cash procedures.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; reading, writing and counting accurately required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register following cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and participation in freight process.
• Execute Plan-o-gram procedures (merchandising, sets, resets) and assemble merchandise.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure safety and well-being of live animals.
• Complete all documentation associated with duties and perform other assigned tasks.
