Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Team Member to deliver legendary customer service while assisting customers and tending to live animals. Responsibilities include operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, merchandising, loading purchases, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

This role requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Reading, writing and counting accurately; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight process; execute plan-of-gram merchandising.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and advise on products or services.
• Ensure safety and well-being of live animals; sanitize holding tanks and care for animals.
• Complete documentation for assigned duties; perform other duties as needed.
