Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience desired.
• Rotational assignments in store areas and strong customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach staff to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Drive sales while maintaining shrink and ensuring company standards.
• Implement Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings and operations.
• Ensure team is trained, safety is prioritized, and attendance is reliable.
• Discharge recommendations and disciplinary actions as needed.
