Job summary

LEGO Group in San Diego, CA is seeking a full-time Retail Store Team Leader. You will train and lead Sales Associates, supervise shifts, and ensure exemplary customer service and merchandise presentation.

The role involves cash handling, inventory auditing, and using POS systems while maintaining store schedules and budgets. You will work a hybrid schedule and contribute to a safe, high-energy retail environment that embodies LEGO Brand values.

Qualifications

• Leadership or management experience in a retail store environment.
• Experience delivering employee training.
• Cash handling and inventory/sales auditing experience.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale automated systems.
• Merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising knowledge.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assists the ASM and SM in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team scheduling.
• Supervise Sales Associates during the shift in line with LEGO policies.
• Complete orders for store and office supplies within guidelines and budgets.
• Ensure money handling procedures are followed by all Sales Associates.
• Maintain a well-organized stockroom and ensure products are merchandised on the floor.
• Assist to achieve high standards of merchandise presentation and store guidelines.
• Learn to maximize profitable sales by reviewing sales and margin information.
• Provide training to enhance the team's customer service, product knowledge and sales.
• Support a brand experience aligned with LEGO Brand Retail values.
