Job summary

West Coast Convenience is seeking a Team Leader to drive the store’s success in a hands-on role focused on performance, operations and customer experience. Lead a diverse team, set expectations, and build a positive culture while ensuring efficiency and safety on every shift.

You’ll oversee daily operations, manage cash, control labor costs, optimize inventory, and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all departments in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 9-12 months of leadership experience in retail, convenience, or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
• Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and manage sales, expenses, and inventory.
• Must be 21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and retain a strong team.
• Set expectations, drive accountability, and build a positive team culture.
• Create schedules that support the business and control labor costs.
• Oversee daily operations, cash handling, and store readiness.
