Job summary

Primark in New York is seeking a Team Leader to drive sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience by guiding and coaching a team of sales colleagues. You will work closely with store management to ensure daily operations run smoothly and standards are consistently high.

You’ll be responsible for stock availability, merchandising, scheduling, and providing in-the-m moment feedback to empower your team and foster a fast, friendly shopping environment that customers love.

Qualifications

• As a Team Leader, you will lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues confidently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing store needs.
• Clear and effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Experience with retail technologies including cash registers, self-checkouts, tablets, and handheld POS devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales colleagues to deliver great service.
• Maintain stock levels and size availability to maximize sales.
• Ensure the store floor is well-presented, merchandised, and stocked.
• Allocate daily tasks and schedules to keep colleagues productive.
• Oversee customer areas to provide fast, friendly service.
• Support opening/closing and store duty management as needed.
• Coach and develop colleagues through feedback and onboarding.
• Ensure pricing, signage, markdowns, stockroom organization, and safety checks are met.
