Job summary

Dollar Tree, Wake Forest, NC, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and maintain merchandise flow from truck to floor while ensuring clean, organized departments.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, enforcing policies, supervising and training Store Associates, and maintaining a positive, safe work environment. Part-time role with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Maintain neat, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional customer interactions.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
