Job summary

Claire's is seeking a part-time sales associate in Kansas City to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and keep displays fresh. You will work closely with the store team to up-sell promos and maintain a high-energy, fashion-forward environment.

Responsibilities include piercing services with proper aftercare, cashier duties, inventory and merchandising, and promoting social sharing of Claire's products.

Qualifications

• Retail experience with customer focus and sales goals.
• Experience using POS systems for transactions and cash handling.
• High school, with at least 1 year in retail management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer experiences and upsell to drive revenue.
• Learn and perform piercing services and aftercare education in a sterile environment.
• Maintain attractive store displays and organized inventory.
• Support Store Manager with team motivation and sales tips.
• Represent the Claire's brand and stay current with fashion/trends.
• Oversee store operations including inventory, cash handling, merchandising and promotions.
• Encourage customers to share their purchases on social media.
